About C Cubed Aerospace, LLC

C Cubed Aerospace is an innovative asset-lite aerospace company. We produce cargo aircraft by converting passenger aircraft to freighters. C Cubed focuses on the Airbus A320 & Airbus A321, which are the most successful narrow-body (single aisle) transport aircraft ever produced. We give those aircraft a “second economic life,” after they have concluded their service as passenger aircraft. Our innovative and green design results in the most efficient freighters carrying more containerized cargo than any other narrowbody aircraft in the industry.

Problem statement

The air cargo market is expected to grow at a 3.5% CAGR over the next 20 years. That compounding effect suggests a requirement for 1,300 additional passenger to freighter (P2F) conversions. The Airbus A320 and A321 are an excellent choice for those conversions as they are newer, enjoy a more modern design and are more widely available to convert to the cargo configuration compared to the Boeing 737 and its 1960's design. C Cubed Aerospace designed a unique configuration allowing for one additional pallet position in the A320 and up to two additional pallet positions in the A321 compared to the competition. This allows us to claim we are the greenest narrowbody conversion available as our design can transport more cubic volume than the competition plus we use less fossil fuel than the Boeing narrowbody conversions, up to 25% less fuel compared to the older Boeing 757. History has shown that when new cargo designs are introduced with more cargo volume capacity, that product has become the dominant offering.

Traction information

We are on the equivalent of the 5 yard line as we pivot from pixels to production in 2Q 2024. There is almost zero technical risk at this stage. All the risk today is execution in preparation for customers, supply chain and production.
