This means leaders don't get reports on problems for 3 months or longer. It means clinicians are wasting countless hours filling out the same data into different forms for different departments in the same hospital. It means continuing education is viewed as a "checking the box" activity instead of an opportunity for professional growth. And it means everyone in the healthcare system is run ragged chasing around employee information or copying it from one database to another, increasing burnout and turnover.
