Automated personal shopping powered by AI
Ploom has created the world's first truly automated personal shopper, providing profile-based, expert, event-specific written fashion advice and garment search. Ploom has emulated the in-store personal shopping experience online. "Customers engaged with a stylist, online or in a store, spend seven times more and report greater levels of satisfaction ..." according to Erik Nordstrom, CEO, Nordstrom, Inc. Please note: Many think they've seen a solution like Ploom because they've been pitched many, many times on similar ideas. These solutions have been partially successful or have often failed because they are incomplete and/or provide broad or simply terrible advice. Unlike anything else on the market, Ploom provides a complete, high quality solution, making the description above absolutely true, word for word.

E-commerce apparel stores lack ... - a truly personalized shopping experience - an ability to help when their customer doesn't know what they want - a capability to interact, especially with 'just browsing' visitors. "80% of consumers are more likely to do business with with a company that offers personalized experiences," says Epsilon Marketing. This is exactly what Ploom provides.
We are pre-revenue, raising capital to come to market. Our first offering, a marketplace, is now in Beta (please visit https://ploom.style). User excitement was palpable when reading through the response of Ploom’s first UX survey, with a 56% likelihood that they'd use the site regularly, and of those, purchase something through the site on average monthly. "I like the different options and how well it details everything about the clothes and what's best for my body type" and "Great design" were two representative comments. Even with zero traffic, our first attempt to fill the supply side of our marketplace proved far easier and faster than expected. Seven mid-market customers have agreed to sign on to the marketplace, with four currently providing ~6,000 SKUs for the Beta. One of note is FRMODA, an Italian company specializing only in top-tier brands providing us with access to high end designer brands such as Versace, Dolce & Gabbana, etc. Our second offering, a Shopify e-commerce sales app, is currently under development and due out shortly. This app will serve as an interactive tool for boutiques, providing purchase confidence for consumers while gathering email addresses and profiles for the boutique's CRM efforts. It will also drive traffic to ploom.style. Boutique revenue uplift metrics will then be used for future medium-to-large e-commerce merchant (Nordstrom, Macy's, etc.) sales efforts.
A fully functional, live inventory website completed with 8 customers and 6,000 SKUs.
A fully functional website with demonstration inventory was completed. This allowed us to attract eight mid-tier customers for our marketplace, including Harvey Nichols, the equivalent to Nieman Marcus in Britain.
