Daniel grew up in New York, receiving Bachelor degrees in Political Science and Theology, and later a Master’s in International Relations from New York University’s Center for Global Affairs. Before founding Generation Transfer he worked in private equity, management consulting and fixed income sales.
The idea to create Generation Transfer began the day he became a parent; overwhelmed with emotion he recorded a video of himself for his son to open in the future. “This moment was too private to share on social media and important to leave in the clutter of my cloud.”
"As time went by and I understood the responsibility I have to prepare my son for an increasingly complicated world, I couldn't find any solutions designed to help parents capture and organize everything they with their children in one place. Technology has produced a strange reality for parents - we share details of our lives with distant friends, advertisers and strangers, but have no way to organize and share what matters most with our kids.”
