Elisa Miller-Out is an experienced tech entrepreneur, investor, board director and community builder. She is managing partner of Chloe Capital, a seed stage VC firm focused on investing with a gender and diversity lens. She's also an Innovation Advisor and serves on the Climate Action Council at NYSERDA. She is an Entrepreneur in Residence at Cornell University and mentors for 76West, StartFast, NEXUS-NY and LaunchNY. Elisa recently had a successful acquisition deal with a division of Singlebrook, a custom software services firm that she co-founded and led as CEO for over 10 years. She is now chair of the board and CFO at Singlebrook. Singlebrook has Fortune 500, higher education and nonprofit clients from all over the world including: Cornell, Yale, Henry Schein, Hitachi, the Sierra Club, the Environmental Defense Fund and more. Elisa has been featured in the New York Times, the Washington Post, USA Today, Forbes and other publications, and she speaks about technology and entrepreneurship at events across the country.
In addition to serving as chair on the private company board of Singlebrook, the business she co-founded, Elisa has served on several private for profit and non-profit boards including: GatheringUs, Climate Action Council, Women 2.0, StartFast Code, ConvergeUS, CSRwire, Local First Ithaca, NY Society of Association Executives, and Barnard Young Alumnae. She looks forward to bringing her innovation strategy, robust network, finance knowledge and operating experience to other boards.
Prior to founding Singlebrook, Elisa founded two other companies and worked in a variety of industries in NYC. She also founded several networking groups and regularly serves as a mentor and judge for startup accelerators and competitions.
