eve Vehicles Corporation designs American-made drone systems for public safety. We use drone systems to help improve efficiency of human capital by arriving quickly on scene and providing accurate information. Our advanced drone systems can be accessed from anywhere in the world through our secure web portal.
Over the last two years, crime in Austin has risen by 200% and our police force shrunk by approximately 40%. If you were to call 911 right now, you would be looking at an average wait time of 9 minutes to speak with an operator and it would take another 45 minutes for police officers to show up. Lives are lost in these moments.
Our drones show up first at the scene of 911 calls within three minutes of speaking with an operator. Our drones autonomously fly to the scene from charging nests deployed around the city, and are then controlled by a drone pilot through our web portal once at the emergency scene. Responders love our "hands-off" subscription model, because we do all the maintenance, updating, and training for the system. We help bridge the gap of human resources in emergency services using robotic automation.
By showing up within 3 minutes, we can tell the city which resources to send, if they need to show up at all, and how to approach the situation safely. This system will save the city incredible amounts of money, and pay for itself.
- $75,000 Phase I SBIR contract awarded from AFWERX; will be applying to a follow-on SBIR Phase II application in November 2023.
- $15,000 Grant awarded for placing in the NSIN Power Play Hackathon in 2021.
- Entered a Collaborative Research And Development Agreement (CRADA) with Army Research Labs (ARL) DEVCOM and the University of Maryland to develop on the biplane quad rotor drone frame.
- Entered Standard Research Agreement (SRA) with UT Austin Center for Electromechanics at the UT J.J. Pickle Research Center.
- 4+ LOIs from Travis County Sheriff and EMS (Central/South Austin), Williamson County (North Austin-Georgetown), and Harris county (Houston), as well as a number of ranch and vineyard developers.
- 1/3 companies selected to speak with Secretary of State, Anthony Blinken
The AUVSI Partnership for Drone Competitiveness is a new initiative to address the acute challenge the drone industry faces with respect to subsidized competition from China and the loss of the component supply chain.
Capital Factory had Secretary Blinken visit and speak with 3 startups. We were on of those chosen by Blinken’s team to meet him. We got about 20 Minutes of his time, assembling a drone together, talking about the state of public safety and how drones can help. Secretary Blinken also got to do a Q&A with us that was featured on the news! Thank you Capital Factory for providing this amazing opportunity for us to expand our network.

eve and the well known Dr.Singh of army research labs have enter into a collaborative research and development agreement. With ARL’s ground breaking quadrotor biplane design, we will achieve a %40 boost in efficiency during flight. eve has exclusivity for this patent in the drone industry through our agreement, making this an incredible competitive advantage.
eve applied to an AFWERX Open Topic and was awarded a Phase I SBIR contract for $75,000.00 in non-dilutive funding. The topic focused around eve’s drone networks. eve will be applying to a follow-on SBIR Phase II application in November 2023.

The research project is a collaboration between The University of Texas - Center for Electromechanics (UT-CEM) and the eve Vehicles Corporation. Initial research activities include:
1) Improving the performance of autonomous local energy generation 2) Increasing the efficiency of an eve Vehicles’ electric motor concept. 3) Testing and analysis of smart composite vehicle frame
We entered a Nation Security Innovation Network hackathon for the strategic use of energy. We won with our CROW concept and this really launched us as a company. We’ve gained great government connections from the program and were awarded $15k.
