Coding and computer science are necessary literacies for the understanding the world we live in. There is both a shortage of trained computer science teachers and teaching tools that engage "middle learners": students that have completed basic introductions to coding but are not yet confident in their abilities to tackle text-based coding.
GameSalad is in use in over 130 school by over 12,000 students in Fall 2021.
