The buildout of 5G networks faces unique challenges for traditional centralized telecommunication companies. The higher frequencies needed to deliver 5G speed/latency metrics require higher densification of cellular nodes. This comes with a higher cost structure for telcos and poorer connectivity for areas with high density of mobile users. LongFi Solutions offers a solution to improve connectivity by leveraging existing Wi-Fi infrastructure (or deploying new hardware) to allow cell phone users from major carriers to seamlessly and securely connect to use mobile data and services. This also creates a new revenue stream by monetizing excess bandwidth.
