The Roblox platform, often called YouTube for games, with over 200 million monthly active users and millions of UGC developers, is becoming increasingly saturated and competitive. Even on other gaming platforms, finding the eyes of dedicated players is more difficult than ever for small studios and indie developers. Success now requires more resources, infrastructure, and expertise, but funding options and support are limited. Despite their skills and creativity, many talented developers fail to find success simply because they lack the guidance and tools necessary to build, market, and sustain games that can compete with the top titles on the platform.
A key issue is the lack of accessible information. Although platforms like YouTube offer some resources, they are often geared toward traditional game development rather than UGC(User Generated Content), and much of the available content is superficial. Especially because the Roblox platform’s current opportunity is still relatively new, in-depth content on building scalable, IP-driven games is lacking. Moreover, when developers do reach the top, they often have little incentive to share what they’ve learned, gatekeeping valuable insights that could help others succeed. This leaves many independent developers navigating the platform without the knowledge to scale their games effectively.
Smaller studios also struggle with critical operational tasks like marketing, hiring, and data management, leading to inefficiencies that come back to haunt their development cycles. Unlike larger companies, they lack dedicated teams and experience in these key business functions, making it difficult to focus on game development and innovation.
Our target customers are independent Roblox and indie developers who are looking to build innovative, engaging games for this growing audience but lack the resources, marketing tools, and operational support to scale their projects and compete in a crowded market.
