Rob Cammack is the founder and CEO of SmartDrone.
SmartDrone improves efficiency and speed to completion for land surveying data collection and processing, resulting in increased capacity, margins, and profits over traditional surveying processes.

High-speed robotic data acquisition, specifically drones, became an intense area of focus with some initial investments in robotics. In 2020, Rob started SmartDrone in his hometown of Tyler, Texas. He’s proud of the SmartDrone Team, many of which come from the energy and industrial sectors rather than the traditional “startup tech” world.

SmartDrone is beginning by serving leaders and executives in the land surveying and mapping business responsible for delivering data to their clients.
We take the time with each surveying company to understand their needs. With drones being an early stage in many uses, listening and educating is essential for clients to adopt SmartDrone technology to benefit their business.

Grateful for all of the mentoring he has received, Rob shares what he has learned through his mentoring of small businesses and startups. He is also a Certified Dave Ramsey Financial Coach and has helped people in various situations, from single moms to multi-million dollar business owners. Along with his wife, Rachel, they contribute to financial literacy initiatives through their non-profit foundation, Arkeo Financial Wisdom.
