BleedIO Opens $2.5M Seed Round in October as Defense and Commercial Demand Accelerates
BleedIO Tech will formally open its $2.5 million seed round in October 2026—and the timing reflects a significant acceleration in market demand.
We are building the connectivity layer for Physical AI: resilient, decentralized wireless infrastructure that keeps machines, sensors, autonomous systems, workers, and AI applications connected where Wi-Fi, cellular, GPS, and hub-based networks become unreliable or unavailable.
Over the past several weeks, the market has begun validating this thesis faster than we anticipated.
At Fed Supernova and the Defense Industrial Base Consortium event, one message came through consistently: MACF is not a future capability looking for a mission. It addresses an immediate and growing requirement for resilient communications across defense, autonomous systems, contested environments, disaster response, and critical infrastructure.
Those conversations are already converting into action.
Our teaming activity with established defense contractors has tripled in the last month, encompassing SBIR and STTR opportunities, direct projects, technical evaluations, and broader mission partnerships. Defense organizations and integrators are evaluating BleedIO for applications including autonomous platforms, drone operations, personnel and asset awareness, CBRN environments, infrastructure-denied operations, and resilient communications at the tactical edge.
Commercial demand is accelerating alongside defense.
In addition to our work with Chevron, Lufthansa Industry Solutions, Snap-on, and Canadian Tire, we are advancing opportunities with Freeman, Forge—the new corporate parent bringing together Emerald and Questex—and CenterPoint Energy. We are also expanding relationships with technology providers, system integrators, hardware manufacturers, and industry partners that see BleedIO as an enabling layer within their own platforms.
This momentum is also receiving meaningful third-party recognition.
BleedIO has been named a semifinalist in Pepperdine Graziadio Business School’s 2026 Most Fundable Companies program. Our Hazardous Energy Awareness Network, or H.E.A.N.™, was also selected by the National Safety Council as one of only 10 solutions nationwide for its 2026 Work to Zero Safety Innovation Challenge. These recognitions validate both sides of the BleedIO opportunity: the fundability of the underlying platform and its ability to solve urgent, high-consequence problems in the physical world.
The requirement across these markets is strikingly consistent:
Every industry is deploying more sensors, connected equipment, robots, autonomous systems, and edge intelligence. Yet the infrastructure connecting them was not designed for the physical, mobile, obstructed, noisy, or contested environments in which these systems must operate.
BleedIO closes that gap.
Our DRAW™ platform creates decentralized, self-healing networks without depending on Wi-Fi, cellular service, cloud access, or a central hub. Independent testing has demonstrated greater than 99% reliability and sub-200-millisecond latency across six hops. The architecture is designed to support more than 32,000 nodes while providing encrypted, infrastructure-independent connectivity at the edge.
We believe the next category-defining infrastructure company will not be another AI application. It will be the company that enables AI and autonomous systems to operate reliably in the physical world.
BleedIO intends to be that company.
The seed round will fund our transition from successful pilots and expanding demand to repeatable deployment: increasing engineering and implementation capacity, advancing the SaaS control platform, converting the current pipeline, and scaling our defense, industrial, enterprise, and ecosystem revenue engines.
We are beginning investor conversations now, ahead of the round’s formal October opening. We are especially interested in investors and strategic partners with experience in defense, dual-use technology, critical infrastructure, industrial automation, edge computing, and Physical AI.
If those areas align with your investment thesis, this is the right time to meet BleedIO.
