Bookwheel is a web platform designed to help students become lifelong readers using a simple three step process: incentivize, monitor, and grow. We give kids a reason to read through digital and real-world incentives, enable teachers to monitor their progress through AI-generated comprehension quizzes and reading logs, then help them find their next good read. With Bookwheel, we aim to make reading more than just a chore.
Reading has fallen out of popularity over the years, especially among children. According to the NAEP, student reading and comprehension has plummeted over the last decade. With so many distractions, it can be hard to motivate kids to read and for teachers to manage reading in their classrooms. That's where Bookwheel comes in.
