Eventual is building Daft, a distributed query engine that processes images, video, audio, and text with the simplicity SQL brought to tabular data. It enables engineers to handle petabytes of multimodal data via declarative queries without becoming distributed systems experts. The company was founded by autonomous vehicle industry veterans who experienced firsthand the infrastructure bottlenecks slowing AI development.
