Exonicus Partners with IVIR, Inc. on $150,000 Contract to Develop Prolonged Field Care Module for Trauma Simulator
Exonicus has secured a $150,000 contract with IVIR, Inc. to develop the Prolonged Field Care (PFC) module for the Exonicus Trauma Simulator. Under IVIR’s leadership as the prime contractor, the project leverages advanced simulation technologies to meet the critical training needs for prolonged field care in military and austere settings. Building on the Trauma Simulator platform, the module will integrate the HumMod physiology engine to simulate realistic, dynamic patient conditions over extended periods. It includes two pre-programmed scenarios: multi-trauma involving high-energy kinetic and thermal injuries and a female patient with pelvic blast trauma. This initiative highlights Exonicus's commitment to delivering adaptable, high-fidelity tools that enhance military medical training, improving readiness and effectiveness in managing complex field care challenges.\r\n
