Many individuals in marginalized communities face persistent barriers to employment, entrepreneurship, and economic mobility. Limited access to quality training, mentorship, and career pathways leaves families and neighborhoods trapped in cycles of poverty and instability. Ragas Consulting addresses this gap by equipping people with skills, resources, and opportunities that lead to meaningful careers, thriving businesses, and generational wealth.
Ragas Consulting has built a proven track record of impact in Washington, DC and beyond. We have successfully partnered with government agencies such as the Department of Small and Local Business Development (DSLBD), the Department of Employment Services (DOES), the Mayor's Office of Volunteerism and Partnerships (ServeDC), and the Mayor's Office on Returning Citizens Affairs (MORCA) to design and deliver workforce and entrepreneurship programs that serve hundreds of residents annually. Through the Marion Barry Summer Youth Employment Program, we have trained and mentored over 120 youth in career readiness and entrepreneurship, with a placement rate that connects participants to jobs or internships within weeks of program completion.
We created and host the annual Building Generational Wealth Expo, which attracts hundreds of attendees, community leaders, and entrepreneurs, and has become a regional platform for advancing financial literacy and business ownership. Our firm has also secured over $575,000 in funding for client programs and supported the launch of multi-year government contracts for local businesses.
