Runatek entered an agreement with the University of Texas at Tyler to fund research on control systems and medication dosing for patients taking prescription opioids. This partnership has yielded multiple published articles, over a dozen research reports, and gigabytes of research data for Runatek.

Team developed first hardware prototype of the Sotiras, including CAD models, pump system, electronics, etc.
