About Odyssey Arm

Odyssey Arm is building safer communities through better training. Our Odyssey Armament Training System (OATS) is funded by the US Army's Soldier Virtual Trainer OTA. It allows soldiers, police officers, and civilians to instrument and train on all weapon types with full use of sights and recoil across multiple display interfaces like projection screen, HDTV, and Odyssey Arm's proprietary version of VR called ParaLXR.

OATS also provides rich data which allows after action review and AI weapon instructors. The production prototypes of OATS is currently being used by Texas Gun Club and Clear Creek Gun Range to train students with feedback being immensely positive.

Problem statement

Old simulator systems like FATS only allow soldiers to train on one direct fire weapon type at a time. It lacks the capability for soldier to train concurrently on different weapon types and indirect fire weapons. It also lacks the three dimensional pose necessary for simulators to realistically model weapon round ballistics.

1. We won the US Army's Next Generation Soldier Virtual Trainer OTA (STE SVT OTA)
2. Due to our delivery on the SVT OTA, our company is profitable
3. Our civilian solution for SVT has been deployed and used by the firearm instructors of Texas Gun Club and Clear Creek Gun Range
4. The students who use our system have given overwhelmingly positive feedback and 50% of them signed up for the pre-order
