One platform. Any sensor, drone, or robot. Decisions in seconds not hours.
Confirmed by founderTempest Droneworx is a defense technology company that develops Harbinger, a unified orchestration platform enabling real-time command, control, and analysis across any sensor, drone, or robot. The platform is edge-deployable, ATAK-compatible, and built on a MOSA (Modular Open Systems Approach) architecture, making it hardware- and robot-agnostic with zero cloud dependencies. Founded by Service-Disabled Veterans and SBA-certified, Tempest Droneworx targets federal defense, state government, and civilian security markets with a single platform that addresses ISR, battle management, counter-UAS, airfield assessment, and perimeter security use cases. The company holds an issued patent for autonomous drone deconfliction logic and has earned over $6M in DoD contracts validated through AFWERX's TACFI program.

The core problem we solve is decision latency in high-consequence environments. Defense, emergency management, and critical infrastructure organizations do not suffer from a lack of data. They are drowning in it. They have drones, cameras, robots, phones, satellites, maps, sensors, legacy systems, and now AI tools layered on top. But when the moment of decision arrives, the data is still fragmented, delayed, out of context, and often unusable. That delay is not an inconvenience. It is the failure point. It costs lives. It costs billions. It breaks response systems. And in national security, it creates operational vulnerability. Harbinger was built to eliminate that delay.
The next generation of defense, emergency management, and infrastructure operations will not be won by whoever collects the most data. It will be won by whoever converts fragmented data into trusted action the fastest. That is what we do at Tempest. Tempest developed the Harbinger platform to address operational fragmentation by fusing disparate data sources, sharing information to AI enabled analytics, autonomously orchestrating drones and robotics, and visualizing contextual operational information in real time through an interactive 3D common operating picture. Harbinger is hardware and software agnostic and interfaces with government procured sensors, COTS technologies, autonomous platforms, and future operational systems through standards based APIs and modular service architectures. The result is not situational awareness as a static picture. Think of us as decision intelligence.
Tempest Droneworx has secured $6M+ in government contracts with 4 active government customers including the 321st CRS, 621st CRG, 194th ASOS (USAF), and a U.S. Army OTA subcontract. The company projects $10M+ in revenue for 2026/2027 against a $25.1M active pipeline, and has been validated through AFWERX TACFI selection and completion of multiple SBIR/STTR phases.
