If you’re a deep-tech innovator, the Texas A&M New Ventures Competition (TNVC) is one of the best launch pads in the country—and this year, Well Water Finders was proud to be named a Top 5 Finalist!\r\n\r\nAt the 2025 TNVC event, we joined a powerful group of startups from across Texas, each pitching groundbreaking solutions to some of today’s most pressing challenges. We’re thrilled to share that Well Water Finders also took home the Conley Rose, P.C. Legal Services Prize — helping fund our next patent as we continue to innovate in groundwater detection technology.\r\n\r\nA Community of Innovators\r\nBeyond the awards, this experience was all about connections. We had the chance to meet brilliant founders, visionary investors, and supportive mentors. Special thanks to Austin Technology Incubator and Capital Factory—our mentors who have helped guide us on this journey.\r\n\r\nWe also want to extend a heartfelt thank you to the TNVC organizers, judges, and sponsors who made this event possible. Your support gives startups like ours the chance to thrive, scale, and make a meaningful impact.\r\n\r\nWhat’s Next\r\nWith new funding and legal support, we’re now one step closer to expanding our patent portfolio and bringing next-generation groundwater solutions to more communities. We’re grateful for every conversation, every introduction, and every vote of confidence we received at TNVC 2025!
I’m incredibly honored to be named to PitchBook’s list of 109 Female Founders and Investors to Know in 2025—a recognition that goes beyond individuals and speaks to a larger movement we all need to get behind: investing in women.\r\n\r\nThe data is clear: despite record levels of capital in the market, companies founded solely by women received just 1% of total U.S. venture funding in 2024—down from 2% the year before. That number is more than a statistic. It’s a wake-up call.\r\n\r\nAs the founder of Well Water Finders, I see firsthand the innovation, grit, and impact women bring. From developing patented technology to helping landowners across drought-prone regions make smarter groundwater decisions, we're solving big problems. But to scale, we need support.\r\n\r\nBeing featured by PitchBook is both an honor and a reminder: female founders are building the future. Let's support them like it and we all benefit.
Well Water Finders® uses patented, non-invasive remote-sensing technology to locate and characterize groundwater quickly and accurately. Our work supports landowners, developers, municipalities, and infrastructure teams in making informed decisions about water availability before costly drilling or development begins. Our surveys serve real estate, agriculture, and large-scale planning efforts while continuously enriching a proprietary Water Intelligence Platform designed to support long-term resource planning and resilient development. With over 90% verified accuracy, our data is increasingly used to guide projects where water access directly impacts feasibility, cost, and risk. Building on two issued U.S. patents and a patent-pending system, TunnelHawk™, we are expanding our subsurface intelligence capabilities to detect underground water leaks, voids, and structural risks. By identifying hidden infrastructure failures and water loss early, we help reduce resource waste, prevent costly damage, and support more resilient communities. With growing multi-state operations and a rapidly expanding data network, Well Water Finders is helping define the future of groundwater discovery and subsurface intelligence. 50% of the world population relies on groundwater for drinking and irrigation. Yet the most common way of finding groundwater is drilling, which costs more than $9,000 per attempt and only has a 30-40% success rate in high-drought areas. This also presents challenges to governments for sustainable groundwater monitoring and management. And in a world where water is the next strategic resource driving global conflict, our data will be extremely valuable.
The Well Water Finder patented remote-sensing system is portable, easy to use, detects groundwater in seconds, and has a 90% accuracy rate at a fraction of the cost. With every survey we conduct, Well Water Finders is building a first-of-its-kind water intelligence platform. With every region we map, and every data layer we add, we're moving closer to becoming the authoritative water data source that shapes state water laws, international agreements, corporate sustainability strategies, landowner mineral rights and climate adaptation efforts.
