Melinda Garvey is the founder and CEO of On The Dot, a B2B, SaaS Virtual Community Platform. On The Dot helps organizations create virtual communities rich with resources, collaboration and connection and gives them a seamless, all-in-one communication tool to drive community engagement and scale.
Melinda is a serial entrepreneur, founding her first company, Austin Woman magazine, 20 years ago and then just recently executing a successful and unprecedented organizational restructure to bring on nine additional diverse female owners as partners. “This new leadership structure allows us to realize the huge growth potential of Austin Woman, while at the same time ensuring the magazine continues its legacy of inclusion for generations to come.”
Melinda is a respected community leader and currently serves on the Habitat for Humanity Austin Board of Directors, as well as the Hand To Hold Executive Board.
In addition to recently becoming a portfolio company of Capital Factory, On The Dot has also been asked to join the Blackbaud Accelerator program, beginning in January 2023.
