James is a former Infantry and Information Operations Officer in the US Marine Corps, where he served as a Science and Technology Officer for the I Marine Information Group, Information Commander Center. He then worked at the Defense consulting firm Levenhall, where he helped successfully commercialize three different technologies across five different DoD awards with companies such as I-Blades and Odys Aviation. James has four years of startup/venture capital experience, is a Mechanical Engineer who worked on drones at NASA, and holds an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business with an MS in Symbolic Systems. He is a US Citizen and a Direct Employee of Traverse.
