SaaS application which allows attorneys and private investigators to use limited data to find information on people relevant to their cases. Data algorithms access 31 (currently) unique data sources to aggregate and normalize data into simplified reports. FMW uses data iteration (using bits of data to find more data, then using the newly located data to uncover even more data) to mimic manual searches at lighting speed. Recent notable additions to FMW data are a homegrown, multi-billion record dark web breach database, and a network with thousands of ALPR (automatic license plate recognition) camera’s that track vehicle sighting around the nation.

Problem statement

It is hard to locate further information when you only have limited information to go on. For example, finding stolen vehicles, depositions and testimonies, stolen assets, jury selection, finding facts, and more.

Traction information

Launched the product in January 2020 and focused on driving web traffic.
No marketing - 400 users and we are adding about 35 new users per week, completely organically from search engine traffic and word of mouth.
Cash in the bank - Searches are pre-paid by users, prior to running them, and search costs to FMW are paid in arears. Every search is highly profitable, so the ability to maintain “burn” in this regard is indefinite. Server costs are minimal, and are funded by searches.
Founder and CEO, Alex Smith, has 10 years of data and tech startup experience. 3 successful technology ventures to date. Previous venture highly successful as a pure data play. Alex Smith’s first startup (LanternCRM) was in CF’s first cohort in Dec 2012.
